When one of our projects received a recognition we get happy … so imagine with 4!
The jury of Emporia Awards, composed exclusively of representatives of professional associations and industry trade press, met and which are rated the best works of architecture and ephemeral decoration of Spain, awarding the different categories. This year, Dicom Events has been awarded the following winners:
– Emporia Gold in the category “Best temporary point of sale (no fair) for ROAD SHOW AUDI E-TRON HUB, working ni collaboration with VICE.
– Emporia Silver in the category “Best Set-up of a non traveling exhibition” for the project The new dawn of SEAT in Autostadt.
– Emporia Silver in the category Best Ephemeral Point of Show (no fair) for the project Mediterranean Windows for Desigual.
– Selection Emporia in the category “Best system of a traveling exhibition” by working for SEAT Versatile Cube
These days are celebrated the Geneva Motor Show, where we created the SEAT stand International, almost 1500 m² that have hosted the presentation of the strategic vision of the brand through the showcar 20V20 (Vision 2020), an SUV that advancing the future of the brand and new design language.
The architecture project is to highlight various aspects: from the roof concept based on the multiplication of the front grille of the car that aprta a very iconic and distinctive feature compared to other stands; to the main and side facades inspired by the corporate SEAT dynamic line; passing through a main stage with white glass turntable and in harmony with the secondary stage.
Of the total area, we have dedicated 500 m² for exhibition zone, 450 m² for offices designed in a warm, minimal and very natural style, and another 450 m² to be a part of an attic, in a second level, offering a sitting area and a chill-out of more playful tone.
Dicom Events has also activated other dynamic elements of the stand as the so-called mapping car, a new cube with scale model inside where contents are projected from its 4 projectors, or the new display of virtual configurator car where you can set to claim all SEAT models.
A new challenge successfully achieved!
The professional experience shall be recognized. Once again , Dicom Events has designed and implemented the staging of Recognition event for SEAT employees, which this year paid tribute to SEAT Ibiza on its 30th anniversary. An event held in L’Auditori de Barcelona and was attended by 800 people. SEAT recognizes this act, the longest-professionals in the company and in particular, this year the 30th anniversary involved with SEAT.
This very nice events recognition gives value to the experience and the professional and personal growth of employees, which is necessary to reward or highlight today and honors a company like SEAT.
But attend this event backstage also gave us pause. First, because today it seems as impossible for anyone 30 years, for example, reaches 60 in the same company. In the world of constant change and the “stability of uncertainty” in which the majority are installed, it is rare to imagine in the same place so long.
The second thing that comes to mind is whether now, a world full of changes, truly experience is “a degree” as important as it once was, or rather the degree now have the ability to adapt quickly to entornos.Tener new experience in solving complex situations, have the tools to adapt quickly to changes and encourage others to imitate you and follow you may be the experience is most needed and that is what makes a professional expert , something that today it is very useful.
Mario Benedetti left said something that applies to this that we speak: “When we had all the answers, suddenly they changed the questions”. Search and respond to these new questions … the “degree” of our times?
Recently we have partnered, finally and formally, with the Association of Agencies of Associated Spanish Events (AEVEA), with whom Grupo O to which had already collaborated through our tandem agency in Madrid, La 5ª. This association has, from now on, a new events agency to bring the desire, the enthusiasm and interest in aligning ourselves with the mission of the association and that is summarized in “creating a sector defined, profitable and sustainable.”
And we could not have a better welcome: this month AEVEA has included in its monthly newsletter the interview with Carlos Morales, Account Manager of Dicom Events, where a little is presented who we are, how we see the association and what we can contribute to that trajectory of more of 3 years, long but intense, in which AEVEA has been working tirelessly in order to dignify the sector.
It is true that the day of the projects, I think that everyone in the sector knows it very well, it is VERY absorbing. But in DICOM EVENTS we believe that it is necessary and useful for all agents involved in this world (also and above all for customers) to try to provide this great family with good practices, ideas protection and security mechanisms. , of sustainability, of dynamics of agency competitions, …
